  1. "Dark side of depending on algorithms" demands that I either turn off my ad-blocker or pay them money. So much for freedom!

  2. First, ads are an infinitesimal element in the algorithmic control imposed on us that at least you're aware of and have some defense from.

Second, the important distinction between choice and free choice is seldom made. People -- particularly americans -- confuse choice with free choice. The latter is some ability to create your own options; the former involves options imposed on you without that ability.

If I put a gun to your head and ask you for your wallet, you do have a choice, but it is not free choice.

That is the style of GOD in abrahamic faith.

    1. That's what ALL gods are are about, period. It is something that was invented by humans before they developed knowledge and reason to the point that they could understand reality that proved one of the best instruments of control. That's why I am a militant atheist.

Be that as it may, anybody who singles out Judaism when for criticism in face of all the infinitely much worse records of Christianity and Islam -- to this day -- and using that in contexts that have nothing to do with religion is an anti-Semite.

      So spare me the crap.

    2. I agree. Judaism is relatively better than other two destructive Abrahamic faiths(Christianity and Islam). one of the oldest but yet relevant and peaceful faith on earth is Hinduism which accommodates anything and everything.
