I have noticed this before but chose to let it slide but is
it your intention to not capitalize the first letter in the word American in
such comments as: "(not to mention american culture in general)" in
one of your recent web site posts? I
understand that you have your own axe to grind with the current government of
this (my) country, but I don't think you represent your views very well by
disrespecting the entire country. I
have been in the position before of not agreeing with the current President,
and still do, but I would never display disloyalty or disrespect to him or this
(my) country because of it. I truly
enjoy the technical content of this web site and I think that you and your
fellow contributors bring much needed facts to the arguments surrounding the
Relational Theory that can't be found elsewhere. I only suggest that if you insist on using your site to convey
your political beliefs that you display the same respect to others that you
would wish for yourself. Remember the
"Golden Rule"...and have a great day.

1.
If you really think that not using capital A is what respect
for the country is, you are deluding yourself.
2.
While I do distinguish between government and country, the
difference between them has become increasingly smaller.
3.
What exactly is the rational justification for using capital
letters this way in general, not just for US, other than "that's how it's
been done forever"?
