Following the weekly quote of May 20, I received the
following response from Rudy aka r937, to which I replied. I rest my case.

on your home page of may 20, 2005, you attribute two quotes
to me
the first, attributed to me at tek-tips.com, was not posted
at tek-tips.com
the second, attributed to me at forums.devshed.com, was not
posted at forums.devshed.com
your research is pretty sloppy
after you lambasted me for my "north-american"
education, i would have thought you to show a little bit more effort in your
fact checking
or did your european education not teach you a respect for
accuracy?
tsk, tsk

You're right about [the first] one. Corrected:

But not about [the second] one: http://forums.devshed.com/t104037/s.html.
That's where I found the stuff; maybe they were cross-posted.
What your North-American education did not teach you is
what's relevant and what's not. I was accurate as to what counts, but I
understand why you would want to distract from it.
My research is not sloppy where it counts, but your knowledge
is. You seem so focused on marginals, but that's only because you don't get
much of the substance.
Ed. Note: I and Rudy seem to have different concepts
of research. His is the location of posts, mine is on technical substance. The
reader should ponder the significance.
